Flight 2121 Will Open in Hillsboro Village’s Former Home of Savarino’s | Eater Nashville

"I noticed a new sign on the former Savarino’s Cucina space at 2121 Belcourt Avenue in Hillsboro Village announcing that the international café will be called Flight 2121 (the restaurant’s street number) with the tagline "take off to your international destination." Originally slated to be Belcourt Café International Cuisine, the spot—whose previous tenant Savarino’s shuttered in April 2017 after 11 years when Hungry Dine LLC assumed the lease—had an unclear status last week after the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office taped a notice to the door saying owner Hungry Dine LLC "must vacate," according to the Nashville Post; however, it appears the legal issues are settled now because workers were inside doing construction and the building has a fresh paint job. Hungry Dine, which also owns and operates two Dosa Hut Indian Grill locations in town, plans to offer a broad international menu including Malaysian, Indonesian, Chinese, Italian, Thai, Indian, Singaporean, Mexican, and Middle Eastern dishes." - Delia Jo Ramsey
