Why a San Francisco Mini-Chain of Italian Restaurants Just Filed for Bankruptcy | Eater SF

"One of two local locations that recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the Clement Street outpost filed on Tuesday, May 20. Co-owner Brandon Gillis told the San Francisco Chronicle the decision was "calculated." Court documents reviewed by the Chronicle show it owes "just over $1 million to creditors including wine distributors, meat purveyors and the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration." Operations at this location, the other filing, and the chain’s two other San Francisco outposts remain unchanged." - Paolo Bicchieri
