"Village Bar and Grill in Sunriver Village was bought in 2022 by Christy Schmidt of Bend, who has succeeded in maintaining its longstanding friendly, unassuming atmosphere that puts on events for locals in the winter. A variety of burgers are the staples on the menu, including a smash burger, a falafel burger, and the explosively flavorful blue bacon jam burger. As there are no sushi restaurants in Sunriver, many diners choose the yellowfin poke bowl here with its plentiful fresh vegetables and quinoa to satisfy their raw fish wish. Instead of wasabi, it includes sriracha soy sauce marinated tuna and is topped with sriracha aioli.
