"Thornton’s Fenway Grille, a Fenway bar and restaurant that has stood at the corner of Peterborough Street and Kilmarnock Street for the past three decades, abruptly announced that it was closing down immediately via social media on October 14. Ownership wrote in a post on Facebook, "The time has come — a huge thanks to all our great customers and staff over the last 30 years. We are so grateful for your support and patronage.
