Yi Fang Fruit Tea Expands to U District | Eater Seattle

"I noted that Yi Fang Fruit Tea, the Taiwan-based chain that recently opened an outpost in Seattle’s U District on the Ave (weeks after opening one in Lynnwood’s Alderwood Mall), is best known for fruit-based boba and tries to set itself apart by avoiding artificial powders and juices while relying on house-made organic sugar and seasonal fruits for its drinks. The Seattle shops feature fruit options such as kumquat, green plum, and aiyu jelly lemon. These openings represent the chain’s first U.S. West Coast expansion outside of California, and they’ll have their work cut out competing with the many established bubble tea spots in the U District." - Gabe Guarente
