Tacos El Gordo plans a retro-vibe location close to Town Square | Eater Vegas

"A new 7,497-square-foot Tacos El Gordo is planned at 2550 W. Sunset Road on the former junkyard site at the Windy Road intersection, facing Texas de Brazil near the northern side entrance to Town Square. Built from the ground up, the location will not include a drive-thru and instead relies on dozens of parking spaces; Locals GT/AD Studio developed a California‑retro meets mid‑century modern exterior as shown in permit renderings. Inside I learned there will be seating for 232, including nine booths for 36 diners, a layout similar to the Charleston Boulevard outpost with customers lining up at individual serving stations, and two patios adding 72 seats facing Sunset Road.
