"After a pandemic pause, the Mexican chain relaunched its ever-popular chocolate piñata at Dallas–Fort Worth locations as part of its 35th birthday celebrations. The interactive dessert comes as a chocolate globe served with a wooden mallet and is filled with mini churros, fresh pineapple, and strawberries; guests smash it open and dip the treats into freshly made chocolate ganache and whipped cream. Designed to serve four to eight diners, the relaunch also includes a charitable component: the business is donating $5,000 to The Birthday Party Project, and from November 1–7, $1 from each chocolate piñata sold at DFW locations will benefit the charity. The original location at 4125 Lemmon Avenue in Dallas will kick off the partnership with a piñata-smashing on November 1 at 10:30 a.m." - Adele Chapin
