Peg’s Glorified Ham n Eggs opens second Las Vegas restaurant - Eater Vegas
"With almost twenty years of success in northern Nevada, family-run Peg’s Glorified Ham n Eggs expanded to Henderson just over a year ago and became an instant hit. Its second local home debuts today on the westside, replacing the 4,480-square-foot former Biscuits Cafe, near the intersection of Durango Drive and Sahara Avenue. The interior has been completely updated, adding plenty of Peg’s now familiar blue vinyl booths. Open daily for breakfast and lunch, in addition to hearty plates, the menu features “Glorified” skillets of huevos rancheros, a sierra omelet, and breakfast burritos, plus “Glorified” Benedicts of smoke salmon, steak and “Chef George’s Benedict,” created with “chorizo patties topped with chipotle Hollandaise.” Sandwiches, “lighter choices” and burgers are available for lunch and diners can also order “Peg’s ‘Aloha’ from Hawaii” selections including the very popular loco moco." - Bradley Martin
