"Perched above Salt, Open Road’s new Rosslyn outpost presents an Americana-themed, 80-seat grill intended as the more casual, daytime counterpart to the cocktail bar — a deliberate "night and day" difference. The space uses reclaimed wood and features an American flag mural, a suspended Harley-Davidson Fatboy motorcycle and paintings of Nationals slugger Ryan Zimmerman and Bruce Springsteen by local artist Jack Labadie. Weekday happy hour runs 4–7 p.m. with $5 draft beers, $7 house wines and $8 small plates; the room includes 10 TVs and is aimed at serving Rosslyn’s growing daytime crowd. Hours are 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on weekdays (midnight close Friday), Saturday 10 a.m.–midnight, and Sunday 10 a.m.–11 p.m." - Tierney Plumb
