"Opened near the Redondo Beach shores in early 2016, this social house is expanding with a second location planned for the Hermosa Beach Pier in mid-May. Led by legendary restaurateur Paul E. Hennessey as part of the growing Hennessey’s Tavern family, the concept will bring the exact same menu and style as the original, according to general manager C.J. Chiappinelli. Management secured a prime pier-side spot by taking over the shuttered Mediterraneo and completed a mostly cosmetic facelift in a rapid turnaround to be ready for the busy summer season.
