Kumo Will Bring Trendy Japanese Sandwiches to Mira Mesa - Eater San Diego
"Kumo is a new shop scheduled to open by July in Mira Mesa, specializing in Japanese-style sandwiches known as sandos. The shop will occupy a 540-square-foot space and will be geared towards takeout service. Co-founders Messiah Williams, Jeyme Araki, and Victor Ly will offer a menu featuring a variety of traditional Japanese fillings such as egg salad, chicken katsu, menchi katsu, and a sweet combination of fruit and whipped cream. Specialty beverages, including sparkling drinks made with fresh fruit puree and matcha, will also be available, alongside plans for limited edition seasonal sandwiches and other small side dishes." - Candice Woo
