Turkey Leg Hut Opens New Food Truck at Galleria Food Truck Park - Eater Houston
"The Turkey Leg Hut, a beloved Third Ward restaurant, is expanding its reach by opening a new food truck at The Galleria. Known for its smoked turkey legs, the restaurant is aiming to meet the citywide demand. The food truck will be located at The Galleria’s food truck park (2829 Chimney Rock Road) and will operate from Thursdays to Sundays, starting at 11 a.m. until as late as midnight on weekends. The menu includes jumbo turkey legs stuffed with dirty rice and crawfish mac and cheese, along with Cajun seafood bowls. The expansion plans also include establishing a presence at three forthcoming Third Ward spots — Savoy Urban Beer Garden, Daiquiri Hut, and Breakfast Hut — to help reduce the long lines at its flagship location on Almeda Road.
