"A German-founded European coffee-house brand (launched in Munich in 1999 with more than 200 locations across Europe and Mongolia) has opened its first North American store at this Bellaire location. The shop offers a variety of hand-made coffees, teas, smoothies, and juices alongside bagel sandwiches, pastries, and salads, and emphasizes sustainability by tailoring the menu to American preferences while prioritizing locally sourced ingredients, local vendors, and a local roastery. North American COO Chris Fannin, who previously led Common Bond Bistro & Bakery, will oversee U.S. expansion plans that include up to 25 Texas locations — three additional Houston-area sites (the Heights, River Oaks, and Katy), the brand’s first drive-thru stores, and further openings in Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio slated for 2024–2025. The Bellaire shop’s posted hours are 6 a.m.–7 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m.–6 p.m. on weekends." - Brittany Britto Garley
