"The Culinary and Bartenders Union is heading to the Thomas & Mack Center on May 22 to vote whether to authorize a strike that could begin as soon as June 1, when union contracts expire for about 50,000 employees at 34 casinos and resorts on the Las Vegas Strip and in Downtown Las Vegas; workers from MGM Resorts, Caesars Entertainment, Penn National, Golden Entertainment, Boyd Gaming and others plan to vote during two sessions on May 22, and if a majority agrees, bartenders, guest room attendants, cocktail servers, food servers, porters, bellmen, cooks and kitchen workers could walk off the job starting June 1." - Susan Stapleton
