"Opening at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, Saltine officially launches its Nashville outpost: a 9,000-square-foot, seafood- and oyster-focused restaurant and bar by way of Jackson, Miss., taking over the former home of Blackstone Restaurant & Brewery at 1918 West End Ave. I note chef Steven Robilio — who also runs the kitchen at 4-Top Hospitality’s Amerigo next door — is behind a wide-ranging lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch menu that includes raw-bar items like oysters, seafood towers, and shrimp and lobster spring rolls, while the main menu ranges from po’boys to Creole gumbo to hot chicken to ciopinno and ramen with a duck egg. Saltine opens from 11 a.m. to midnight Monday–Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday." - Erin Perkins
