"A clubby Italian restaurant on the Upper East Side is moving a few blocks this year following the move of a nearby restaurant. The current space at 37 East 60th Street will close on Thursday, June 19, and the operation will reopen at 58 East 56th Street between Madison and Park avenues, with the new location set to open in the summer. The original outpost (which remains in operation) opened in Greenwich Village in 1981; since then the group has expanded with locations and other similar Italian restaurants in New York, Florida, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania. The Uptown outpost originally opened in 2012. The move comes as new landlord Extell Development Co. moves ahead to raze its “Billionaire’s Row” block to make way for a posh skyscraper overlooking Central Park." - Melissa McCart
