"It’s too late to order an actual Thanksgiving pie from Baking with Ish, a Filipino pastry stall in Blossom Market Hall. But it’s never too late to swing by for a treat (which you can pair with coffee at the stall next door) post-Thanksgiving. In the mornings, founder Ishnoelle “Ish” Chin Richardson serves up plush buns topped with rotating seasonal flavors. On a recent visit, pumpkin flan rolls and cinnamon-glazed blueberry almond scones were available; there are savory options, too, like a softball-sized scone studded with salty pops of Spam and tocino. By noon, the pies arrive: find a slice of ube custard folded with American cheese and glazed with condensed milk. Availability of flavors come and go with the seasons, so maybe for this weekend there will be pumpkin options, too. Expect to also find cheesy ensaymadas — cloud-like Filipino bread rolls — and cookies anytime you go." - Eater Staff
