"I’m convinced this Jersey City spot is the best restaurant in the world: the ordering system has improved (you get a numbered receipt and are called by number), and my usual, the butter Mysore masala dosa ($10), arrives as a long, crisp tube browned to perfection from a fermented rice‑and‑lentil batter, rubbed inside with spice powder and filled with a potato mixture seasoned with black mustard seeds, curry leaves, and other South Indian spices; I break off pieces to pick up the potato and dip each bite in fresh coconut or peanut chutneys, and I also get unlimited free servings of sambar from a pot at the side of the room — the whole meal is supremely satisfying and super fun to eat, and there are 68 other dosas on the menu to explore." - Robert Sietsema
