"Serving as a makeshift relief kitchen in Redding after the Carr Fire, volunteers and celebrity chefs mobilized there to feed evacuees and first responders. Guy Fieri joined Operation BBQ Relief, the Red Cross, the Salvation Army, local chefs and residents to prepare and serve roughly 1,400 meals, while José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen coordinated additional meal deliveries with emergency agencies.
