"O-Ku shares a footprint with its sibling restaurant, Indaco. Both sit across the street from the Peace Center, offering an early supper before a ticketed event. Outdoor seating is covered, and there’s an additional courtyard bar, which is a hopping spot at happy hour. Culinary director Masa Hamaya likes to check in with the Greenville location, and executive chef Jose Aguilar tailors the menu to make it feel unique to the Upstate. The hamachi carpaccio is a standout with orange ponzu and local tomatoes. A secret menu item is worth asking about: a lobster salad roll topped with seared steak.
