"After having many breakfast taquito and spicy ketchup-slathered cheeseburger dreams shattered back in 2017 when job postings online proved false, I'm relieved that Nashvillians will soon have nine locations of the Texas-based burger joint Whataburger. Decades ago it had a few Tennessee locations, but residents have long awaited the return of the popular drive-thru chain known for its customizable burgers, honey barbecue chicken strip sandwiches, and honey butter chicken biscuits. According to the Nashville Business Journal, nine future locations have been announced. Harmon Dobson opened the first Whataburger in 1950 in Corpus Christi, and it has since grown to over 800 locations across Texas and nearby states, with most locations open 24 hours a day, seven days a week." - Delia Jo Ramsey
