"Shut down by the San Francisco Department of Public Health on Friday, May 2 after a routine inspection that turned up a litany of health-code violations; The San Francisco Chronicle broke the news, noting “rodent droppings 'between coffee beans' and 'on top of all the under-the-counter beverage refrigeration units.'” The inspector also found unclean nonfood surfaces and a lack of food-safety-manager certification on site. The operating permit has been suspended; the business can request reinspection after addressing the issues and may request a hearing to contest the suspension within 15 days.
