"Before that, the Art Deco corner housed Wally Curry’s retro Rocky Cola Cafe, a '50s-style diner opened in 1988 that became a longtime north Glendale institution — made famous when President Bill Clinton stopped in for a buffalo burger and fries in 1996 and when Whitney Houston filmed a video there — and which closed in 2012; the new restaurant even recreated the booth where Clinton had lunch and echoes the diner's green-and-pink interior, including a Rum & Rocky Cola cocktail that references the former spot." - Ani Duzdabanyan
