"On a busy stretch of Vermont Avenue I visited Kobawoo House, the family-founded Koreatown restaurant that's been operating for more than 30 years and is world famous for its pork bossam and other traditional Korean dishes. The restaurant remains a bustling neighborhood spot that's closed only on Mondays—which is when Baik stages Corridor 109—so one enters the tasting through the side kitchen door into a sparse, dimly lit dining room currently stacked with chairs and tables that block the main entrance; the venue’s suite number even inspired the Corridor 109 name.
