"Housed in an 1858 building in Oak Bluffs that previously housed Zapotec and Ken N’ Beck, Red Cat Kitchen was renamed by chef Ben DeForest in 2012 after a restaurant he ran in the 1990s in West Tisbury; although the building has been sold, the restaurant is expected to endure "for decades to come" under new landlords Gary Jones and Brian Packish.
