Philly Chef Michael Solomonov Brings Israeli Dishes to New DCA Airport Lounge - Eater DC
"A Philadelphia chef is serving some of his dishes with an Israeli twist at a new, very exclusive space in D.C.: the newest Centurion Lounge at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The nearly 12,000-square-feet American Express airport lounge will feature a menu created by James Beard Award winner Michael Solomonov, along with renowned chefs Michelle Bernstein and Ravi Kupar. The lounge will be serving a mix of specialties from each chef’s Israeli, Latin, and Hawaiian repertoires. The menu includes shabazi-spiced salmon with pomegranate barbecue sauce, chimichurri grilled chicken, and tamari-honey glazed tofu. A D.C.-centric drink and wine list is also available at the airport lounge in Terminal 2, past the south security checkpoint. The lounge is exclusively available to American Express Platinum cardholders, Centurion members, and passengers with a Delta SkyMiles Reserve card." - Emily Venezky
