"Corporate leaders have opened an investigation after three former employees alleged a racially hostile work environment at the Bloomfield Hills location. A former chef, James Gaines, says he resigned after witnessing diners mistreated because of their race and alleges a manager repeatedly referred to late Black customers as being on "CPT" — meaning "colored people time" — and was described by Gaines as about 58–59 years old and white. Another former employee, Blake Dixon, also resigned and reported a pattern of disrespect from management toward staff, guests, and people of color. The national office acknowledged receipt of the complaint, said the company does not tolerate discrimination and has policies against hostile work environments, and stated it has begun an investigation and will take appropriate action if the allegations are substantiated, while declining to discuss further details at this time." - Monica Williams
