"Powered by a team with more than 100 years of combined experience, including time at Michelin-starred spots like Alinea and Rebelle, this fast-casual tacos-and-cocktails newcomer in Grosse Pointe Woods aims for accessibility without cutting corners. A proprietary rotisserie system left by the former Boston Market inspired chef Brandon Zarb’s rotisserie chicken special, served as a family combo with warm tortillas, pickled veggies, and guacamole. Service will be primarily counter-style, but staff will check in at tables so guests can add drinks or more food without using a QR code. “We’re going to use fresh-squeezed lime juice and good tequila,” Branden McRill says, adding, “We’ll also make an affordable margarita.” The menu will feature al pastor shaved from a trompo, vegan and vegetarian options, and build-your-own bowls and burritos, with the team leaning toward flour tortillas.
