"Though it also offers tacos, gorditas, and weekend menudo, this Hampden quick stop (with a sibling in Aurora) is a torteria first and foremost — and a superlative one at that. The whizzes behind the counter whip up more than 20 different sandwiches complete with frijoles, mayo, tomato, onion, thinly sliced avocado, and jalapeños, yet somehow, even monsters like the Super Cubana with breaded steak, chorizo, ham, pierna (pork leg), egg, and two types of cheese hold together. (Note that the owners operate a third location in the old Breakfast King space, where the menu is part Mexican, part diner fare.)" - Ruth Tobias
