"Pizza Americana opened its doors somewhat quietly about a week ago at 800 W Arapaho Road, with a menu that covers Italian classics and beyond. The City of Richardson officially cut the ribbon on Pizza Americana on Wednesday, February 13, and ever since the pizzeria opened its doors, the new spot is consistently packed with locals. The crowd includes friends of father-and-son owners Bruce and Jordan Swim, who hail from Richardson themselves (J.P. Nguyen is part owner of the pizzeria as well).
