"Topgolf is a proposed major project for East Harbor Island in San Diego, submitted to the Port of San Diego. It is a high-tech sports, entertainment, and dining hub, encompassing seven acres. Founded in 1999 near London, England, Topgolf operates 57 venues worldwide and attracts over 17 million visitors annually. The facilities feature an interactive driving range with climate-controlled hitting bays, golf lessons, leagues, and tournaments. It also includes non-golf entertainment such as outdoor games and HDTVs. The venue has an event/stage area, meeting space, outdoor patios, and a full restaurant and bar with a diverse menu and drinks.
