"Mister O1 out of Miami came into Dallas with a bang, bringing its star-shaped pizza with ricotta-filled crust along for the ride. Its Oak Lawn location is small but filled with light and furnished in sensory-pleasing light woods. Here, it cooks up pies made from a crust that is fermented for 72-hours with the usual toppings, along with a Hawaiian option, the Federica (ham, mushrooms, and Kalamata black olives), the Matteo 2.0 (fresh jalapeños, Italian sausage, and onions), the Ricardo (a vegetarian pie with mushrooms, spinach, roasted pepper puree, and zucchini), and more. The restaurant has a nice selection of wines and cocktails, so it’s worth staying to eat your pizza on the spot. The location also offers a Pizza School in the summer, where families can learn the art of pie-making. Find its other locations in Grapevine, Mansfield, and Flower Mound. Must-try dish: Trust us and try the Star Luca, a stuffed-crust pizza featuring spicy Calabrese salami and fresh, shredded basil." - Courtney E. Smith
