"Specializing in Japanese shabu-shabu, in which meat, seafood, and vegetables are cooked in individual pots of flavored broth, Tabu Shabu operates popular locations in Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa. Last spring, the interactive eatery announced its first venture into San Diego, which would replace the long-standing Paesano’s restaurant on 30th Street. The North Park restaurant is currently scheduled to open as soon as early February.
