"A self-styled, Instagram-ready spot in Leesburg that grew from a food truck to a farmers market fixture and opened its debut brick-and-mortar last fall. It was co-built by founder Cheryl Straser and co-owner Kaeley Annaliese “KK” Brady, whose recent death has spurred supporters to raise funds and launch the Love, KK Foundation to assist Cowbell Kitchen and other small businesses (contributors had donated over $6,200 at press time). Northern Virginia magazine dining editor Stefanie Gans described the shop as “an Instagram post come to life,” calling out a hearty bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and noting that craft and sourcing can elevate such a pedestrian combination into something truly memorable." - Warren Rojas
