"I'm excited that Magnus Nilsson is making his triumphant return to the American Swedish Institute to promote The Nordic Baking Book: he's throwing a baking party on Sunday, November 4 with a slew of local chefs participating (including Blake Meier of FIKA Café; Diane Yang of Spoon and Stable/Bellecour; Solveig Tofte of Sun Street Breads; Scott Graden of New Scenic Café; Eva and Fari Sabet of the Swedish Crown Bakery; Carrie Riggs of Café Alma; Anne Andrus of Honey + Rye Bakehouse; Karyn Tomlinson of Corner Table; Steve Horton of Baker’s Field Flour & Bread; John Kraus of Rose Street Patisserie and Patisserie 46; Ky Guse and Mel Guse of GYST, among others). There are two related events that day: an 11:30 a.m. baking-party session ($75, includes baked goodies and a signed copy of Nilsson’s new book) and a 3:30 p.m. afternoon conversation with Nilsson (general admission $15) with an opportunity to buy and get books signed." - Joy Summers
