"The Torrance outpost is the smallest of this dim sum group, even with a sizeable patio, so waits can add up on weekend afternoons (pro tip: put your name in line on the Yelp app). Expect very solid renditions of dim sum favorites like har gow, shu mai, rolled rice noodles and steamed chicken feet; execution here felt sharper — more balanced, better steamed, and just tighter. The Singapore-style curry noodles were blasted with MSG and white pepper, making them ultra-delicious (a two-year-old winced from the mild heat but kept eating them, much to the chagrin of his grandparents, who insisted he stop). The pineapple pork barbecue bao were crisp on the edges, the bun folding like soft tissues underneath. The dining room is small, so try not to come with more than four people; those willing to wait and dine in smaller groups will be rewarded with the South Bay’s best dim sum." - Eater Staff
