"A fixture in the tony enclave of Rancho Santa Fe for more than 80 years, the 11-acre Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation whose results will be revealed this November; the resort occupies one of Lilian J. Rice’s early Spanish revival buildings that was turned into the present-day hotel in 1940. As part of the overhaul the property is replacing its main dining hub, Morada, with two new venues—Lilian’s and Bing Bar—both to be run by Clique Hospitality, and the project is being positioned as a gathering space for hotel guests and area residents. Bing Bar is being created in honor of Bing Crosby, who lived in Rancho Santa Fe and helped found local landmarks like the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club Racetrack." - Candice Woo
