"Tucked in Stamford and open only two days a week (Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m.–4 p.m.), I found Solinsky’s to offer what I’d call the best barbecue in the Catskills: the brisket ($30 per pound) is profoundly smoky and fatty, and when sliced thick it makes a great sandwich on the crusty baguettes they also sell; bacon, kielbasa, and other smoked meats are available, and the place even operates without a sign." - Robert Sietsema
