"While Hola has several locations in Central Oregon, the downtown location is arguably the best. Hola is a Mexican and Peruvian restaurant (not fusion) offering two sides to the menu. Diners can find ahi tuna on both sides. The Peruvian dish includes large seared tuna steaks served with cause limena cold mashed potato cake topped with avocado, cilantro oil, and fresh scallions. It tastes like Peruvian potato salad. An ahi chili relleno is the Mexican offering. This variation of the classic chili relleno has tender ahi tuna baked with a light red chii arbor sauce nestled in a mild chili bake, enveloped in a white cheese cream sauce, and drizzled with a guava balsamic reduction and vibrant pico de gallo. The mole poblano is another must-try, while the ceviche, perfect for a warm summer day, pairs excellently with Hola’s Tranquilo Mexican-style beer or their award-winning margaritas.
