"Bay Area ramen fans will soon have another place to worship: Ippudo, the Japanese ramen chain founded by Shigemi Kawahara in 1985 that opened its first West Coast location in Berkeley in 2017 and followed with a San Francisco spot in 2018, planned a Silicon Valley outpost at 19540 Vallco Parkway, Suite 130 in Cupertino.
