There’s something about cruising the expansive grounds, perusing blue ribbons, cheering on the pig races, and indulging in deep-fried delights that never ever gets old. While there’s always something novel and decadent to taste at Chicken Charlie’s garish booths, the truest gastronomic pleasure is found at Juicy’s, especially its jumbo corndog. Crisp, golden, and measuring over a foot tall, the corndog never fails to turn a few heads. While the cornmeal batter is sweetened just so, the hotdog is a savory and generous powerhouse.
