"The line curling around the standalone building says it all at this Chinatown dim sum favorite, where an outdoor ordering window keeps things moving and staff assume you already know what you want. Prices are almost absurd: steamed buns run $1.20 to $2.50, chicken sticky rice is $2.50, custards, cakes, and cookies are under $2, and very respectable siu mai goes for $1.10; you can even snag barbecue duck for $18, and it’s smart to take buns or sesame balls home for later. Must-try dishes: shrimp or pork siu mai, coconut bun, congee, barbecue duck." - Rebecca Roland
