"Owners Hilarey and her husband Brian Leonard, who also run D.C. bars Lost & Found and Free State, relocated to Annapolis in 2019 and—after talking with friends and new neighbors—realized there was a hole in the market, leading them to open their vegetable-friendly spot in 2023. Hilarey says, “[Other restaurants] do a lot of business for tourists, which is great, but if you live here, you don’t wanna eat crab cake sandwiches every day.” Their varied menu pulls from local farms and waterways and sends out celery bisque, vegan spring rolls, whole grain salads, and a blue catfish with a porcini crust and homemade grits." - Claudia Rosenbaum
