"I’ll be checking out the new Deep Ellum shop at 2639 Main Street when it opens on March 26; the bright, airy space, designed by Michael Hsu’s Office of Architecture and accented with natural woods and navy decor, will serve espresso drinks made with top-notch beans sourced from Peru, Colombia, and Honduras and roasted by Merit Roasting Company. The location is an offshoot of San Antonio’s much-lauded Local Coffee (opened in 2008 by Robby and Neesha Grubbs) and follows Merit’s earlier expansion into Austin." - Amy McCarthy
