Cantina-Style Tex-Mex Restaurant Mandito’s Is Coming to Katy | Eater Houston

"Opening in early 2024, this cantina-style Tex-Mex outpost — the group's third location — will offer 208 seats including a 50-seat patio that faces a nearby green space at Falcon Landing. Known for margaritas, fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, burrito bowls and twice-refried beans, the restaurant will be slightly larger than its Bellaire site (which opened in April 2023) and feature an expanded to-go station designed to fill bulk Fiesta Packs and other orders within about 15–20 minutes. Operated by the same team behind an iconic Houston Mexican restaurant, it also plans community-focused programming such as “Spirit Night” events for local schools and sports teams and will offer a 10% discount to first responders and Katy Independent School District employees with valid IDs." - Brittany Britto Garley
