"Fans of Andre’s Bistro & Bar in the southwest wondered whether the restaurant was closed for repairs or shuttered for good. On Wednesday night, news dropped that the restaurant, which opened almost two years ago as an ode to chef Andre Rochat, closed for good. Joe Marsco, the director of operations and one of the partners in parent company Stacked Hospitality, posted the news on Facebook: “I wanted to take a moment and apologize for all of the mis-messaging and communications over the past couple of days. It came as some surprise to all of us when we found that some partners had decided that an immediate closure of Andre’s Bistro & Bar was the best possible decision for the time being. Chef Andre had recently requested that his name no longer be part of the restaurant that was to be an homage to him after the closure of Andre’s at the Monte Carlo. We had been coordinating a re-brand and re-launch of Andre’s Fort Apache location but many of those plans as we now know are not going to be. I want to thank our wonderful staff and wish them well as they deserve the very best and the many customers that have become great friends for their patronage and continued support over the many years.”" - Susan Stapleton
