"I learned that Mike Solomonov and Steve Cook signed a lease for a space in the new high-rise fronting 1213 Walnut; the back of the building facing Sansom includes a one-story, glass-enclosed annex directly next to Fergie’s where they are planning, possibly, a bakery/cafe. The spot would be just a few blocks down Sansom from several of their other eateries (Goldie, Dizengoff, The Rooster, Abe Fisher and a Federal Donuts), and with Solomonov’s 2017 James Beard best chef win and Zahav pastry chef Camille Cogswell’s recent rising-star award there’s speculation Cogswell might be involved in the new project." - Rachel Vigoda
