Where to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Eve in Boston | Eater

"This old-school dive set along the aforementioned route is named after a legendary Irish woman whose homemade whiskey, called poteen, was said to cure all ills. The bar’s answer to poteen seems to be its list of house shots, like the Irish Breakfast whiskey shot chased with OJ and bacon, or the Dublin Donkey with whiskey, butterscotch schnapps, whipped vodka, and coffee. It’s the perfect stopover on the crawl when you’re ready to try something different." - Molly McDonough
