"Opening May 15, this is the first full-service restaurant from a pop-up–turned–gas-station burger concept founded by Billy Kramer. Located at 3180 Avalon Boulevard, the casual spot offers indoor and outdoor seating, a walk-up window, a white-tiled bar with red metal barstools, an automated cocktail dispenser, plenty of TVs for game-day hangs, and a mix of high-top, low-top and long communal tables under Edison-style bulbs; outdoor cornhole boards reinforce a backyard-barbecue, retro vibe. The menu centers on a classic double-patty smash burger and also features a Polish sausage roll, hot dogs, sassy fries and sassy tater tots fried in beef tallow, milkshakes, cocktails from the automated dispenser, limited beer and wine, Belgian waffles and a kids single burger. The owner left a Truist Park location to expedite this opening; the restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m." - Henna Bakshi
