"For weeks, it has been hard to predict if Chinatown newcomer LaPostté would pull off its unique concept of combination tea shop and artisanal post office, but the Spring Mountain Road cafe is already attracting a crowd to sample its unusual premise. While patrons enjoy a warm or cold beverage, they can purchase a postcard selected from a large wall of choices and then decorate it with special ink stamps and pens. The tea shop will then finish the task and send the card out to friends, family, or loved ones, also creating a novel souvenir for out-of-town visitors. Located close to the intersection of Spring Mountain Road and Lindell Road, a high tea option is available for $24.99 per person and includes a combination of 10 sweet and savory selections, plus a personal pot of tea.
